Have great trips (esp. the one I'm on!). I hope you and the Continental Divide have a good third date.

Did your route on the Appalachian Trail include The West Rim or the Blackforest Trail?

I'm making my maiden trip on the Blackforest this June.

Grace and Peace in your travels!

You're one of my favorite people to live vicariously though. --- And I try to do some living of my own here and there as well ;-)

Have the best summer yet!

Have a great time...but I'll admit I'm not too big on this whole no writing for the summer thing. It makes summer much less thought provoking! :)

Coach - I sent you an email. hadn't heard back, so I figured you were gone. You need to give addresses while you are gone - how are we supposed to send you things!!! Miss you, hope all is well!

Coach, I sure wish I could share part of the summer with you. I was thinking this spring about how to shave weight off my backpack. Then I thought if I were just to loose weight that would in effect do the same thing. So I trimmed off 30lbs, and I don't know when I've had so much energy. Can't wait to share some more miles...just not on pavement this time :)

I am in between Turkey and the Wind River mountains in Wyoming... doing rewrite on my book then leaving next week for Wyoming with Burt and Mason Webb. The Wind River Range on the Continental Divide Trail is the most beautiful section of the CDT (as the High Sierras are the PCT)... will be gone the first half of August there... packing now....
